RaritybyU was born out of the burning fire just to tell it all. I could remember things from as little as 3 years old, from extremely happy events to extremely traumatic events too. But growing up, I was only allowed to tell the happy ones while wave and smile keeping the rest to myself. And It’s been the case for 23 years.
Fashion & Beauty was always something I was passionate about, but there was a point in my life that I used to hide my pain behind the makeup, clothing and even hair do’s and the scariest part, behind my smile.
My journey of owning my truth started back in 2015. It taught me that there was absolutely no need to hide my pain, but to speak my truth. I found some kind of freedom every time I told my story.
I realize that I was not defined by what had happened to me.
So, I knew that I had to teach through what I went/go through. A platform to Normalize Rare Topics, to grow, inspire, empower, and learn from one another’s stories and combine it with the celebration of all Rare Beauties, and little fashion and Lifestyle to it.
Life lessons taught me that facing your truth, speaking your truth and writing it down is where the healing process begins. We all have a past, a story…scars. When you tell your story of how you overcame so many struggles it becomes a guide for other people.
Your story can help give courage to those going through a situation to break-free.
