It was extremely important for me to start this Platform to NORMALIZE Rare conversations, the aim is to create awareness to SpeakIt, WearIt, and Own our truths to grow, inspire, empower, laugh together, and simply learn from one another’s stories to include the celebration of all RareBreeds, and add little self-love elements to the storytelling #WearIt which are products we brought into the business. I am an advocate for mental health. There is healing found in speaking and owning our own stories.
Our Mission
My mission is to provide a safe space for sharing stories, without judgment but with the utmost empathy and sympathy, with the hope that someone may relate to these stories and might execute them as a guide in their lives, where relatable
I believe that my business venture will empower everyone and our younger generation. I strive to create a gateway for everyone to rise above everything they went through and still go through on a daily basis and to start speaking up and owning their truth; their story as we are not defined by what happened to us and to start believing in ourselves and to awaken the power within and normalize rare conversations and to live an authentic life.
My goal is to ensure that my business is a major role player in the South African movements, creating awareness through storytelling and the sharing of our stories, to deeply connect with everyone and our younger generation to influence in such a dynamic way that a different perspective and narrative will be formed around one’s truth/ our life stories (what happened to us) in the industry and to never be conformed to what our circumstances and what the world says we are and taking our identity back. Everyone has a story, and we believe in everyone’s story. There is
something in sharing your truth. Most importantly, it can become a guide
to someone else.
The color blue is a very personal color for me, and I knew it was what RaritybyU would look and feel like, representing the bravery within all of us and our introspective journeys. It’s about our stories, our blueprints, the rarities within each one of us, what makes You, You. But somehow trauma, life situations, negative environments, and unforgiving hearts steal our inner peace and than our identities and somehow we conform to what is said about us.
The blue rose does not exist in nature, it is a genetic modification to create roses that contain the blue pigment. At RaritybyU, the blue rose represents us; from when we were born pure (seed/ our true self) and modified by life situations, trials, and tribulations (representation of the blue pigment). The goal is to find ourselves again and to discover our identities through life’s alterations and modifications. All of this contributes to the rareness in our own stories. No matter what, everyone still deserves to bloom.

With the hope to live healthier spiritually, physically, and mentally. A true sense of freedom. We are taking back our Identities and being true to ourselves, living an authentic life, and finding purpose through our pain (life lessons).
